He just took a bite out of that sandwich meat!

There was an interesting thing that happened to me last Sunday.  I went to the grocery store (will not mention) and was ordering some of that wonderful chicken they usually have at the deli.  It is good because I usually buy the eight piece meal but decided to get 10 legs and thighs because they where on sale. Anyways, while waiting for my food I turned a little to my left and found that one of the workers was slicing some deli meat for a young lady.  She was having a little hard time because her daughter was in the buggy and was trying to get out (mind you that was a little distracting to me as well). While she was being distracted, I was also think about purchasing some deli meat (for school lunches) until I saw the unthinkable.  While slicing the meat, the deli guy took a bite of the meat he just sliced and put it on top of the weight machine, put it in the bag and gave it to the customer. OMG! That just took my appetite.  I was like that is terrible. and the lady just took the meat and left. I was terribly disgusted.  I wasn’t the only one who saw it. I just wanted to make sure that I was really seeing this happen, in the open, in front of me.  Well, I felt kinda bad not saying to the lady that the deli ogor just took a sloppy bite out of her deli meat and gave it to her.  I mean, who am I to tell on him? Buy ya know what….who am I not to?  Maybe I will want to come by because the store is right by my house and forget the whole think happened and then he takes a bite out of my deli meat? This dude must have been really comfortable with him self to a point I wondered how many times has he done this and hoping he didn’t have any hepatitis or something like that?

Anyways I took two seconds and demanded that I speak to the supervisor about it. Now if they did something about it or him I don’t know, but what I do know is that the next time I go to that store, I better not see Mr. sandwich meat at the counter!
