Hello and welcome to my blog myfirsjobsecondshift.com. My name is Kendra I live in Las Vegas with my husband three wonderful children. We are originally from Southern California but ended up here in Las Vegas for the main reason people come here from Southern California….a chance to live and not survive. There have been some ups and downs, but it has made me a better person.
I started a blog not only to share my thoughts about being a working mother, but to also help other working mothers in the process. Before I started blogging I was looking at other blogs to help me find my way. Most of the blogs that I found where stay-at-home moms blogs. You know the, help moms make money on-line or just help with taking care of their families. These were a dime a dozen. Where is a blog that I can relate to? I have been trying to find a blog that not only helped me with raising my family, but also to help me get through my work week, take a break for myself, time management, etc. I know that there are others that are out there doing the same thing that I am doing…. working a 40+hr shift and trying to maintain a household. Not only is one not an easy task but how about juggling both! This is the main reason I have started this blog. To share with others my struggles and successes of how I maintain such a demanding and rewarding lifestyle.
